Working at Heights

Worksite Safety has been approved by the Ontario Chief Prevention Officer as meeting the working at heights training program and provider standards set out by the Ministry of Labour.

This course has two main parts to encompass all of the required knowledge for certification. Part one covers the basic theory of Working at Heights; which includes worker, supervisor, and employer responsibilities. Part two covers the practical ability to complete the basic tasks that keep people safe while working at heights. Students will participate in hands-on equipment and setup exercises, and address safe practices and procedures as specified in Regulations by the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario (The Green Book).

You will also be required to complete an exam on the information provided, as well as demonstrate the practical abilities shown in class.
